Belleville Badminton Club Doubles Team Tournament

Tournament Format: Teams of 4 players (2 men and 2 women) will play men’s doubles, women’s doubles and 2 mixed doubles matches against each team in their pool. In this format, each player will be on the court 50% of the time in this play all day event.
We have six courts so we can have 12 teams competing at the same time. We will have two pools of teams. The A pool will be made up of more competitive players and the B pool will be made up of more recreational players.

Location: Centennial Secondary School, 160 Palmer Road Belleville, Ontario.

Time: Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. Play will begin at 9:00 a.m. The tournament will be concluded by 5:00 p.m. or earlier.

Player limits: The tournament is limited to 12 teams. Each team will consist of 2 men and two women. The players may be either adults or juniors. An OBA player card is not required.

Shuttles: Pool A will supply their own feather shuttles. Pool B will be supplied with Mavis 300 yellow shuttles.

Lunch: In view of the continuous play, please bring your own lunch. The cafeteria will not be available.

Cost: $25.00 per person
